About the opportunity
Join the vibrant team at Cardinia Cultural Centre as a Casual Front of House Supervisor. You'll play a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient venue operations while providing exceptional customer service.
You will make an impact by
- Supervising the duties of casual ushers.
- Providing customer service at the front counter and by telephone.
- Handling cash transactions efficiently.
- Supporting venue operations, including room access, event ushering, and signage placement.
- Overseeing general security, including opening and closing the facility.
- Act as a Warden/Chief Warden of the Cultural Centre in the event of an emergency
What you will bring
- Previous experience in supervising, guiding and supporting staff
- Proven administrative ability with strong public contact skills.
- Experience in cash handling and use of cash register/eftpos equipment.
- Intermediate skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Capacity to learn and use specialist venue software.
- A current First Aid Certificate.
- A current driver’s licence.
- A current Victorian Working with Children’s Check (WWCC).
